Launching the academy's charity of the year

On 31 March 2017, our students will once again be gracing the catwalk at Runway on the Runway - a prestigious fashion extravaganza held at Manchester Airport's Concorde Conference Centre.

CAM is one of only ten Manchester schools that has been invited by the organisers to take part in the event, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust

We have chosen Teenage Cancer Trust as our charity of the year for 2016/17 and will be working tirelessly over the coming months to raise as much money and awareness as we can for what we believe is a hugely worthwhile charity. All the schools involved in the fashion show will be aiming to raise as much money as possible for the charity, competing for the "Thumbs Up" Trophy in memory of Stephen Sutton.

The event's founder is keen to point out that Runway on the Runway is all about young people helping other young people; something that we're proud to say we are really good at here at CAM!

Look out for fundraising events you can get involved in and be sure to keep an eye on our progress!
