CAM Sixth Former achieves his university study dream

CAM Sixth Former Vaidotas Petraitis is the first ever student to go directly from the academy to university, having met the conditions of his offer from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Vaidotas today found out that he has successfully gained his qualifications to study Finance and Accounting.

Arriving in Year 10, Vaidotas has quickly had to learn to thrive in the academy and to develop his English skills as well as working hard in his lessons.

Mrs Fiddler, Assistant Vice Principal and Head of the academy’s Sixth Form says, “I am really proud of Vaidotas’s achievements over the last 2 years.

“He has worked exceptionally hard in all his subjects whilst at CAM and has been rewarded today with a place at Manchester Metropolitan University to study accounting.  His grades for Business Studies were D*D and ICT D*D  and a Merit for Public Services which is absolutely amazing.”

Congratulations also to the other Post 16 students who receive their results today.
