CAM students host their own 'Junior University Challenge'
Academy students played quizmaster for our Junior University Challenge competition in which teams from 7 local primary schools took part.
The students, who are all part of our Community Cohesion Taskforce, wrote the questions, asked the teams, kept score and ran the 3 heats and the final.
The primary school children really enjoyed taking part, as did the CAM students who stayed behind after lessons to host the tournament. The winning team was E-ACT Blackley Academy, who were just one correct answer ahead of the runners-up, Temple Primary School.
Hiba, one of the students involved said she enjoyed it “because it was entertaining for the primary pupils and it was a happy environment to be in. It improved my confidence too and challenged me as a host.”
A big well done to all the teams who took part.
