Launch of Independent Learning Tasks

One big change this half term is the replacement of homework with Independent Learning Tasks. This means that each half term, teachers set students a grid of tasks to be completed over a 6 week period. These grids are available to students via the VLE and to parents via this website - CLICK HERE to go to the tasks page.

Each grid gives students choices on which tasks to do and how much students wish to challenge themselves – attempting either the ‘core, ‘killer’ or ‘extension’ version of the task.

At the end of each half term, teachers will reward students with Vivo Miles – attempts at the more challenging tasks will earn students more Vivos which they can spend on the online shop.
