Attendance news: second highest in Manchester

Attendance at the Co-operative Academy of Manchester is one of the highest in Manchester secondary schools.

Our absence rate of 4.21% for the first 4 half terms of this academic year put us in second place, with only one other high school ahead of us.

The number of pupils who are persistently absent from school is also one of the lowest in the local authority area.

The academy’s excellent attendance was noticed by Ofsted, who said that “attendance has risen sharply to above average” when they visited earlier this year.

Staff at the academy would like to thank students and parents for their commitment to learning at The Co-operative Academy of Manchester.
