Pupil Premium Information

The additional funding provided through the Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government in order to help schools close the gap between the attainment of students from deprived backgrounds and others at all educational stages.

All schools are held accountable as to how they spend Pupil Premium funding through their following:

  • Their performance tables
  • The Ofsted Framework through inspection of a school
  • Annual publication online for parents/carers of how the funding has been spent

The report below outlines how we plan to spend this year's allocation of Pupil Premium funding, and how last year's allocation was spent.

Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy catch-up premium

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support Year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of Key Stage 2 (KS2).

The report below outlines how we plan to spend this year's allocation of catch-up funding, and how last year's allocation was spent.
